1940 Wood Ironing Board/stool

tutorial. Part.

................. It's amazing how time flies. I was looking for a link to the date when I started this quilt, and have spent no less than two years in March. I have been surprised because I thought it would last so long.

has done something to pray .... other projects got in half, but finally in late December, I left over. Now I'll tell you. In
this article you can read how I started and how he became one of my Twelve Months Twelve Causes last year.

So for that month of March 2009, I started embroidering these sheep on canvas fabric ...... a picture of these country you can download. In reality it was to be painted on wood but I thought it was great to put in a quilt. The printed fabrics are flannel . Helena gave me the thinking that and use something, and this is what has gone.

board all the little lambs with DMC , a little on my own. I put a bead as eye and a patch cloth previously fraying. All are different. These sampler bought them in a while.
Before, I gave a finish to the square of canvas to make it look more aged and out keeping with the style.

At first I put piculina in dark brown to delimit blocks. Of course tone is sooo primitive. But when I started doing some test with the fabric that had been earmarked for the edge and back (no one knows how long this great piece was bought from an online store in a balance) I saw immediately that the tone was not appropriate.
With garnet earn much more.

distributed this red plaid fabric for the back and the edge.
Then I bought the notions bias binding, cotton of and it was finished.
And here is the photo collection, quilt folded and have already released.

......... I have not been forgotten, then, I set out to make a primitive quil.
You see that is super easy, especially for that is beginning.
So in the next article I will explain tutorial. I hope I get time this week because I'm pretty busy with work and work up the pictures takes time.

Of course, I encourage all to have a quilt "on hold" or who has "crossed" that do little occasionally, even a little ....... in the end will give you great satisfaction ..... even something simple like this quilt.
