finish. Second half and finished early Quilt

I tell how I made this quilt primitive.

The idea may serve to make one with another issue, choosing another type of embroidery or even just a nice fabric and do not embroider.

The material I needed was:

2 fat quarters of fabric canvas

2 printed flannel fat quarters

fabric for borders, depending on how wide you want the edge, in pictures and the same for the rear.

fabric scraps for decoration of the sheep.

piculina 4 meters or maroon color that you combine.

5 meters bias in garnet wider.

8 dark beads in the form of eye ball. Hilo

DMC black embroidery, 310, maroon 777, 319 Green

necessitas Thread Needle (or any other hue) cream 133 Green 168 and

acrylic wadding, a square of 1.40 cmx 1 , 4ocm

tea and coffee to dye

Distress Dye spray it

drawing embroidery. Mine is out of Freecraftz . I replaced the picture of the American flag on its back by a piece of fabric to which I frayed the edges.

My finished quilt measures 1.20 cm x 1.20 cm

Let it. Eye, my explanation is generally not detailed. intend give some explanation of how I've ridden. I will not stop at describing how to attach the batting, or cut the sides. There are already many tutorials on the net about it.

all I cut the fats into four parts and I were eight square 10 "x 10" canvas fabric and printed fabric.

To give a more rustic, more primitive, I made a mixture of "dye" with good strong coffee and tea and plunged the eight pieces of canvas.

After taking color, spray a little on them with a spray that is used for old wool carpets and other fabrics and I have purchased from Colonial Crafts

Once the fabric had dried, I started drawing and embroidery stitch back and two strands.

the sheep's body is made with cream thread nuanced, and based on the green line is the sheep.

Cut the pieces of cloth to simulate the "blanket" of sheep, possibly all eight pieces are different.

frayed edges and sew with a wide pespute. Finally sew the darling with the trinket.

We have all made embroidery.

continue with the next strip that goes under and so end. Note the order in this picture.

is to make a checkerboard, horizontal strips by first (four) and then sew each other on.

Once we made the four strips, sew together. Remember how you put the together, one facing left and one right.

Fastened with pin.

and sewed. Do not worry that the pin is not broken and the stitch is done correctly.

repeat the process and add another horizontal strip to end all.

Now sew the edge of the fabric squares with a width of 12 cm including seams. First the left side. der then.

up now.

prepare the sandwich with the batting and back and pin.

And now comes the issue of piculina.

wanted to stitch it appeared only a padded back and therefore only one on this tape. If the piculina sewed once sewed all the squares, as it made the quilt straight across on each tape, two passes of stitching would .......

So I devised another system that everything would go at once.

piculina I cut the strips, leaving a margin of one cm on each end.

vertical First put it this way: ripped up a bit from the edge of the fabric of pictures, got into a bit of piculina, ensuring sewed over the end and continue in a straight line above it.

So I was saying it only made one pass through the tape and it appeared only in the rear, a single straight stitch.

Then again do the same when I got to the final.

ripped up a bit on edge and sewed .... got on the inside .......

and ensuring continued to edge back stitch.

Once stitched in this way the three vertical strips, did the same with the horizontal.

Finally, I walked the edge with a stitch together flush.

's it, I did more padding. Only those straight lines.

Finally I sewed the cotton bias binding, those notions, in a garnet that matched my color.

We are delighted with this quilt and say encantandos because first come to the couch is what it takes to entertain and relax watching TV for a while.
